Wednesday bliss

This is what I’ve been doing these past two days, obviously not all day but I love taking a time off and just sit on the couch and catch up on my series for a few hours while drinking tea – what a bliss!

It’s pouring down rain outside – Luxembourgish weather what can I say. The essentials to always carry with you in this country are sunglasses and an umbrella..

Tonight my friends are having a big party at their bar Epic, tomorrow is a holiday here so I’m guessing it will be crazy.. knowing my friends well enough I’m sure it will be! So I’ll be there tonight and then tomorrow early afternoon we’re going to Brussels.

Dinner and drinks at Coco Mango

Yesterday I met a friend at Sofitel’s skybar Coco Mango, we had a few drinks and then walked over to their restaurant for dinner, we ate a cod with salmon – very interesting. After dinner and delicious desserts we went back to the bar for more drinks, mom came and we had a few drinks all together. We had such a great time, laughing and joking..all of us being completely ridiculous :P

Miss smalls

I just got home, it’s very late but I had such a great time tonight. I had dinner and drinks with a friend at Sofitel, their food is amazing but I’ll give you guys a better update tomorrow. I just wanted to say hi..and good night:) This is my very tall mom Anna and I. Sure to say I didn’t inherit my height from her :P She’s so cute and so tiny…and she definitely  doesn’t look old enough to be my mom I think ?!

I missed my flight :/

Okay so I woke up at 4 am to go to the airport. We got there like 2 min before my gate closed but my luggage was overweight (isn’t it always) and they’re super strict there so I had to take something out. By the time I had taken something out and my luggage weight was okay he said it was too late for me to check in my bag so I had to pay an additional 50euros to get my luggage on and so when mom was about to pay he says it’s too late for that as well and that I can’t take my flight – ANNOYING!

So we had to go back home and on our way back we got stuck in morning traffic and three different cars had accidents so getting back took us hours. Oops. In a way I’m happy though cause it means I’ll have more time with mom.

So we went back home, I slept a few hours. Now I woke up, went for a run and now I’ll have lunch with mom out in the sun, the weather is beautiful here!

So let’s start this week with some naked inspiration, shall we :)

Friday chill out

Friday Sofia and I met up at Zanzen, later Olof joined and we went to a bagle place for lunch. That evening Sofia and I went back to her house for dinner. We spent our evening watching a movie about trafficking, drinking tea and just relaxing. We went to bed quite early and then slept more than 12 hours until Sofia’s father Frits woke us up by slamming two pots together – my God it was echoing in my ears for half an hour! Haha.

Then I met my mother and Isabelle in town, they had been shopping so we went for a drink in Grund before going home.

I’ll stay home the rest of the weekend and spend time with my mom before I go back to Stockholm on Monday morning!

Girls Night In

Thursday night Sofia came in from Brussels and Myrto flew in from Greece so we all met at Eleonora’s house for a girls night in. We didn’t feel like going out so we opened five bottles of champagne and just had fun. I haven’t seen Myrto in about 3 years so it was great seeing her again. My God, reading my own blog posts from this week it seems I don’t see my best friends at all ?! haha

The next day Eleonora went back to Athens :(

Catching up with dear friends

Wednesday Yannis invited me for dinner at his place, Yannis is one of my best friends here in Lux and we haven’t seen each other in many years. Every time I was in Lux he was out travelling etc. We had a delicious dinner and a few drinks then we went to check out his new bar he has opened, the name of the place is Epic and I was so proud of him when I saw it! Wow.

Eleonora met us at Epic, we had a few drinks and then went home. Thursday Eleonora and I had lunch in town, did some shopping, had our new favourite ice tea at Downtown and just hung out. I’ve missed her so much, it’s been so great seeing her again, Sagapao verikokaki mou!

Tuesday I met Eleonora and Giorgos in town, we went for a drink at Chris’ new place Downtown and then we went back to Ele’s house where we played Monopoly and catched up. I spent the entire summer last year with Eleonora in Greece and that was the best summer ever. So since July last year we haven’t seen each other so we had a lot of catching up to do. I was so happy to see her again, I miss her! That’s the downside with having your home in two different countries: you get to see your best friends once a year:/

Saturday Brunch

Saturday Skugge Co. let me invite a few of my dear girlfriends to a Saturday brunch at Yogayama. They have a very healthy and fresh brunch and I thought that would be perfect for us seeing how we’re always going wild on scones, pasteries, cakes and other sweets. We sat outside in the sun talking and eating for hours. Then we went back to my place for a few mimosas. Such a nice day I love spending time with these girls, they’re amazing!

Dinner at Riche with two sick little girls

I was sick for a week and it wouldn’t get any better, then Yana caught the same thing too (sorry hun) and we were both exhuasted. After going out the previous night we stayed in my bed all day watching Desperate Housewives trying to recover. Then we met the guys at Riche for dinner. Their meatballs with lingonberry is amazing, I should eat meatballs more often. I guess you don’t just cause it’s such a common dish here in Sweden..
