Yesterday our friend Matt had a BBQ at his house and I was surprised when he told me that HE cooked everything. Guys here don’t really know how to cook so I’m getting used to guys not being able to cook haha. It was very good and we all had a great time, drinking cocktails, talking and playing pool!

To celebrate out little victory of defeating Chernobyl which was J’s terrass and turn it in to a cool home-lounge AND to start off his birthday weekend Cindy and I put together a little cocktail party on the terrass. We did fingerfood and healthy snacks.. We figured, people are so weight obsessed in this country and who knows, some American might flip out if it’s too unhealthy.. you never know! haha. After the cocktail party we all went to the Barbie & Ken party. People were supposed to dress as Barbie or Ken but Cindy and I figured we didn’t have to dress up to look like Barbies…especially not Cindy! :)

J has an amazing terrass but it looks aweful! There is a jacuzzi and a bbq grill but that’s it and both Cindy and I felt it needed a woman’s touch. So we made it our mission of the week to pimp it up and make it more representable, especially with J’s big birthday party coming up that weekend with people flying in from all over the U.S.
It took us a few days and HOURS in the car, a lot of carrying and a lot of building it together but we did pull it off right in time for the weekend! When finally done we celebrated with champagne and mimosas on the terrass just Cindy and I, cosytime!

Hi, my internet has been down and it JUST started to work again yaay. It’s so frustrating not being able to blog and I noticed how important internet is, we use internet and our phones way more than we even imagine. I felt handicapped without my internet and my blog haha.
This morning I went to the gym, took a shower and had breakfast. In a little bit we are going to J’s country club, he’s playing golf and I will tan by the pool and just relax, read, do my nails etc. It’ll be fun!

Cindy and I both LOVE cheese so we often treated ourself to a nice cheese platter and wine up on the roof terrass – YUM!
It’s difficult to find really good cheese here in the U.S though.. they don’t seem to share the European opinion of what good cheese is haha.

Cindy and I met wonderful Jay for lunch in Maryland. I had to go shopping for J’s birthday present which I had been going everywhere to find but luckily this day I did finally find it, THE DAY BEFORE his birthday..thank God. We had a great afternoon the three of us, did some shopping and ran some errands for J’s birthday. Later that evening I called some of J’s closest friends together for a dinner at Café Milano. He thought it would just be him, Jay, Cindy and I so he got very surprised and happy.
