It’s been a week now since I hurt my toe and I’m still far from healed and I can’t walk properly just yet. It’s been nice spending a week just being at home with mom, doing things one normally never take the time to do. I admit I’m a bit bored and I wish I could at least go for walks but it takes time so I have no choice but to accept the situation as it is and make the most of it. I’ve been baking a lot this past week but now I have decided to put an end to my baking era and start a little challenge for myself.
I will do a little “get off the sugar addiction” challenge. Starting today I won’t eat anything that contains sugar, no fruits or berries. It’s not a real clense but to me it is, my body needs it and I have to get rid of my massive sugar addiction once and for all. By posting it here and sharing it with you guys think it’ll force me to behave and stick to it, like I normally don’t. So I’ll mention/comment on how I’m feeling and how it’s going every day. I know it will be difficult but I’ll force mom to not buy any sweets so there’s nothing in the house (though I tend to get creative) and since I can’t physically get anywhere I’m convinced it will work!
Speaking of being creative. One of the thousand times I started my new, healthy life I was SO desperate after something sweet, I was climbing the walls out of frustration and so I came up with this great idea. I wanted pancakes but seeing how that’s unhealthy I thought I’d make a simple omelet, I figured that is practically the same thing as a pancake, and then I’d eat it with strawberry jam (strawberries are healthy right?) and whipped cream (fat is good for you..) Haha. Omelet with strawberry jam and whipped cream.. NOT very good. I wanted to throw up, ew. Not the best idea I’ve had. Hopefully this time I won’t be that desperate!
