Happy Friday everyone! I just got back from the gym. Today I’m working all day until late tonight which is good. The weather is good, sun is shining and I just managed to get an earlier appointment with the U.S Embassy about my student visa so I’m very happy!
The first available appointment I got was in January which meant I’d miss school which I just can’t do. Today I managed to get an earlier appointment and I feel so relieved! =) Happy days.

Good morning! I just woke up, going to work in a little bit. I’ll have to update you guys about that crazy thing tomorrow instead seeing how I work all day and right after work I’m meeting a friend at the cinema! Something very crazy and scary happened in my building Sunday a few days ago, I have to tell you guys all about it – remind me!!!

So. The movie Jack Reacher had its premere in Sweden yesterday and Tom Cruise himself came to Sweden to promote the movie. After the movie there was a private afterparty for the premere at Rose. Rose is such a beautiful place and they had fingerfoods, champagne, drinks, open bar etc. I went there with a bunch of girlfriends and we had such a great time! Of course Tom Cruise attended the party which was cool. Since they had made it a very small and intimate party and selected very carefully who they invited I guess they knew people wouldn’t throw themselves at Cruise and it would work to have him there in the middle of it all.
All of a sudden all of my friends were so in love with Cruise, I don’t find him very interesting except for the fact that he’s a great actor but the fact that he’s famous shouldn’t change anything. Someone is interesting or they’re not, simple as that:)
We had a great time though!

Hi everyone!
Yesterday I woke up early and went to the gym, then I had lunch with Jenny Schpoon at KI. I met here there and we went to their restaurant to buy food to take away and then we sat in a much cosier room close to her office and ate. It’s nice to meet up with my working friends for lunch, extra quality time!
After lunch I went tanning and picked up my shoes I had to get fixed. Then I went home, showered and met a friend in town for lunch again and coffee. I love when it’s not even lunch time and I’ve already gotten so many errands done, makes me feel effective.
Later that night I was invited to the official afterparty after the premere of Jack Reacher with Tom Cruise and of course Mr Cruise was here to promote his new film! Photos from that event in the next post:)
In a little while I’m going to go work, love working! And later tonight I’ll just go to bed early so I can wake up even earlier tmrw morning for the gym :)

Yesterday we celebrated second of Advent, the second Sunday out of four before Christmas Eve. Kelly, Jessica, Jenny and I met up at the Christmas Market near Kelly’s house. It started snowing like crazy so we went back to Kelly’s place where she had baked amazing lussekatter, gingerbread cookies, cake pops inspired by the British christmas pudding, chocolate cake muffins with cream and glögg!
All of the best Swedish Xmas traditions!! So we watched the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show 2012 and had cosy time. I hadn’t seen Jessica in a while so it was SO great to see her and for us girls to just hang out. We stayed at Kelly’s until late, after the fashion show we just talked for a few hours, then we watched the movie Clueless and started eating crackers and cheese – when we get together there’s no stopping us, we pig out! haha.

Friday I met Taimaz, his cousin Tania and her friend Sabina at East for a drink.. or for me a coca cola. Then we went to Bergmans (where else?) where they had a Venetian Mask party, so many cool masks and a lot of fun! I forgot to take an outfit photo so I took a photo from the store just to show you, I really like the dress, it’s one of the new ones I just got.

I ordered some dresses last week and they just arrived ! Iih exciting, it’s like an early Christmas:) I have my clothes scattered across a few countries by now so there’s a lot of things I don’t have right here which is annoying at times. But now I have a few new cute dresses and a pair of shoes :) Shopping does make you a little happier.
Tonight I’m going out with Yana and Taimaz, DDT is on the move!

Thursday after work I met Cassandra and Sahar at Suite for the Thursday dinner. Since I was working early Friday morning I went home very early and didn’t even party really but it was fun to get out and meet some people and to spend some time with my lovely girlies!
Since about two weeks I am going out every weekend because, as I have mentioned before, some friends opened up a new club here in Stockholm and I LOVE that place, so many of my friends go there and I feel at home there. But before Bergmans opened it’s been a few years where I haven’t been going out in Stockholm at all. So now at Sturecompagniet Thursday SO many people were wondering where I’m from since no one has ever seen me before, haha. It’s a little funny, I have actually prefered to stay outside of the party scene, not always my cup of tea.
