Behind the scenes on Lars Wallin Shoot

Now I have the backstage photos from the shoot I did for Lars Wallin last week. We prepared everything for the shoot, hair make up etc, at Lars Wallin’s showroom. Everything took longer than expected and we missed our time at location so finally we ended up shooting at Lars’ showroom. He has the most amazing showroom, I love how it’s decorated. Soft, light, open and glamorous.

Lars asked me if I wanted to be his etoall-model. That means that he uses my body to fit his pieces. He took my measurments and then make the dress fit my body like a glove. Right now he’s working on a new couture collection which will premiere in November at a big show! I was honoured to be asked to be in the making of his couture collection so of course I said yes. Lars is such a creative person, how he manages to mix all different textiles and fabrics on one dress and still make the composion breathtaking and inspiring. Each one of Lars Wallin’s pieces are inspiring cause he puts so much work and thought into it. I truly appreciate surrounding myself with inspiring people like that.

Lars was also asked to create a collection with a few furs in it, of course they catched my eye, you all know how much I adore fur and so we had a discussion about fur which was fun.

The shoot itself went well, when I haven’t been shooting in a while I’m always a slow starter but once I get into it I get it done fast. It was a lot of fun wearing his dresses and I’m excited to see the result, I hope I’ll feel satisfied with it, Lars too! The magazine is being sent to print tomorrow so it should be out soon!

Lars also has his own jewelry collection as well as interior design and leather jackets.

Back in Lux

Elsa and I are now back home in Luxembourg. It’s so good to be back and it is so good to see mom! I will stay here for a month. Eleonora is here and Cindy will be back from L.A soon! I’ll also go to Brussels to see both Sofia, my Scandal S <3, and Carro who moved to Brussels not too long ago and I haven’t seen her in ages. Carro and I always decide to meet up but something always comes up and we both always end up canceling.. Crazy that we will have better luck meeting up in Brussels than in our own hometown Stockholm.

It’s good to be back, Lux is such a beautiful country! What did you guys do this weekend?? Anything fun you wanna share with me ?=)

Good evening everyone! I hope you’re all enjoying your Friday:)

I’ve been working most of the day, then I saw Hany in town, ran some errands and since then I’ve just been home.

Tomorrow I’m going to my dad’s house and from there Elsa and I are flying home to Luxembourg on Sunday morning so I’ve done laundry and tomorrow morning I’ll pack before I leave. It’ll be nice to see my dad:)

I’m told I’ll recieve all the backstage phootage from Thursday’s shoot for Lars Wallin tomorrow, I’m excited to see photos. Here are a few photos that were taken with the photographer’s assistant’s iphone.

I just got back home from today’s photo shoot. The shoot was for designer Lars Wallin and it was such an honour to work with such a great and well known designer AND his creations and couture is to die for, literally! We had a change of location last minute so we did the shoot at Lars Wallin’s showroom which itself is amazing, I want my house to look like that!

I’m waiting for the backstage photos from one of today’s three photographers so as soon as I get those I’ll make a long post with lots and lots of photos in it. Meanwhile here’s a photo of Lars Wallin and I when he fits his new couture line on me, now that entire collection will be custommade for my body :)

Backstage

Hi everyone, I just got back home.. been away for two days so it’s great to be home again. I’m enjoying a cup of tea and some quality computer time haha. I have to pack my luggage and organize all my papers etc. cause in a few hours I’m going back into town AGAIN to see Cindy and Fred. Then I’ll stay in town all night until I’m heading to the airport at 3am :/ I’m flying back to Sweden, Stockholm. I’ll be exhuasted tomorrow but whatever, I can sleep when I get back to Sthlm.

So I’ll see you guys tomorrow, I’ll update you then seeing how I don’t have much time right now. Big hug to all of you <3

Interview and shoot for facial collection

Yesterday Elsa and I had both interviews and shoots for a company’s new facial series they’re launching 2013. They used the idea of us being sisters and we’ve both used their products for quite a while now. It was a lot of fun working together and also fun to have a shoot that is about me. Normally when I do shoots I play the roll of what the client wants the result to be like but just having to be plain “me” was very relaxing. Not as much pressure and easy to succeed with haha.

Today’s shoot started off bad and it looked like it would be a looong day of shooting, we were way out of our time schedule, went to the wrong location and I was freezing. We picked it up though and we all did an AMAZING job, even without retouch and all that the photos turned out fantastic I am so proud and superexcited to see the result!!

I got back home a while ago, had dinner and some tea to warm myself up. Right now Yana and I have to get ready for tonight’s party, it’ll be a lot of fun!

Tomorrow I have to pack cause I’m going down to our house in the country for a few days before flying to Luxembourg on Friday. Let’s hope I don’t have too much fun tonight or else I’ll be dead tomorrow!

Tomorrow I’ve got a shoot for a jewelry/accessorie company quite early so I’ll go to bed soon so I’ll wake up fresh tomorrow. I’ve missed doing shoots so I’m happy to be back and working again! Tomorrow night is the final big party to close down Stockholm fashion week, I’m going with a few really fun friends and I’m also bringing Yana so that will be a lot of fun! Busy day tomorrow but it’s all fun things so I’m not complaining. Anyways, talk to you guys tomorrow :)

I’m a very dumb blonde – hilarious backstage video

Haha! Photographer David Kebo always managed to catch the best moments. Here we are in the taxi on our way to location for the shoot after hair and make up. We’re joking around in the taxi and it’s soo funny. I come off as such a dumb blonde and it’s hilarious!

It’s in Swedish though so if you’re Swedish you definitely HAVE to watch it.
