Dior fires John Galliano

I’m sure many have heard about the incident that finally got Dior to take actions such as to fire Galliano. Betty showed me this article from The JC about it.

His opinions are private and are not to me mixed with his ability to work as a designer, THOUGH antisemitism is considered far more serious than Italians and French holding a grudge. Big names in the fashion industry has commented and none of the comments has been in favour for Galliano. This means that being associated with John Galliano could be a very negative situation for quite some time. It shall be interesting to see who goes first when the dust has settled.

Any thoughts on this? Was it right to fire Galliano because of misbehaviour and even violation, wouldn’t that be up to a court to determine the punishment? Seeing his opinions has nothing to do with his work, or Dior. Or does it?

1 year anniversary and Mickey’s birthday!

Hi!

Happy Birthday to Mickey who has his birthday today!!! Yesterday after work I rushed to the supermarket and then rushed home to start cooking before Mickey got home. I quickly took a shower to get rid of all the make up and hairspray, got dressed, lit some candles et voilà! Mickey got totally surprised, he thought I would just cook something I always do, eat while watching tv as we always do but no no no, If I want to I can do it good!

Thursday= 4 hours non stop Russian

Today I really didn’t feel like going to school but now that I’m here it feels good. One more day of classes and then my weekend begins! Tomorrow I’ve got a photo shoot (looking forward to it!) and after the shoot Mickey and I will celebrate our 1 year anniversary with a superbe dinner in and some romantic alone-time whereafter we’re going to watch Rossen play at some club. On Saturday it’s Mickey’s birthday and on Sunday I’m going to Grand Hotel’s Afternoon Tea with Kelly my beautiful friend! Now the class begins!

Pancake-Party

Pancakes are real good stuff and it’s so easy to make it a bit more special: add chocolate, berries, nuts -your imagination is the limit! Something I’ll do sometime in my life is a pancake-dinner party with all kinds of different pancakes, toppings, fillings, pancake-cakes etc. Maybe this summer? Could be fun- I crave spring right now!

Mickey and I

In exactly one week Mickey and I have been together for 1 year. It’s unbelievable to me, we spend every day together and yet neither of us has murdered the other: THAT’S love to me. I wouldn’t even be able to spend such amount of time with my friends (some of you I would, you know that)

Anyways, we’re at home now. Mickey is still sick and today he couldn’t force himself to study all day. I still have to study though, tomorrow as well. Emma and Jackie are having a cocktail party at a club and I so wanna attend but I don’t think I will be able to =( I feel completely isolated by my studies, but it’s good that I’m learning to study properly!

Hi everyone. I’m spending my days at KTH studying, that’s why I’m not being much fun here. When I get home later I’ll post a Dress 2 Impress, promise!

I’ve noticed that for being a person who does not use make up I’m applying lots of lipstick while studying. You might think that, “What a waste, no one will see you anyways, hidden in your books!” BUT, it’s become a reason to take plenty of tiny breaks=)

Gossip Girl and nail polish <3

Mickey is asleep and I need to study but I am going to let myself watch the new episode of Gossip Girl, I need to be able to do at least that! I’m waiting for Mickey to wake up, we bought cheese cake and I can’t wait to eat it! Mickey has to feel better first though, might take a while=/ haha I’m so selfish!

Anyways, gotta go. my best friends nail polish and Gossip Girl are waiting!

Hi Pumpkins! I spent my day with Adrian. We went for lunch and around town, had a cup of tea, passed by YOU to chat with Dessie and her co-workers, shopped for birthday gifts for two friends and of course I happened to buy Myself something too :) It turned out to be a great day after all!
