I was sick for a week and it wouldn’t get any better, then Yana caught the same thing too (sorry hun) and we were both exhuasted. After going out the previous night we stayed in my bed all day watching Desperate Housewives trying to recover. Then we met the guys at Riche for dinner. Their meatballs with lingonberry is amazing, I should eat meatballs more often. I guess you don’t just cause it’s such a common dish here in Sweden..

I was bored and when I’m bored the fridge is my best friend. For some reason it feels like every time I open it, there will be something fun to eat/make. Even though the items inside stay the same, I’m still as thrilled everytime I open it, even if it’s only been 5 min since the last time I checked.
Anyways, so I wanted something sweet but still healthy and then I did this – voila healthy!
It’s layers of strawberry jam, Greek yoghurt and crunchy cereal.

So as I mentioned before two friends from NYC came to visit Sthlm. And so last week was filled with sightseeing, lunches, dinners, clubs and too many mimosas. We’ve had a really good time and it was fun showing my city:) This night we met for dinner at Miss Voon and drinks and dancing at Rose.

Monday last week Jenny and I met up and had a 2 hours power walk around town, then we met a friend from NYC for lunch at Hotel Diplomat. He just arrived that morning so after lunch we had a little walk in town and then met up at East for dinner and drinks. Olof who was also in Sthlm visiting from Luxembourg came too. Then we went to Soap bar, Soap bar is always fun.

We’re enjoying some bubbly and talking. In a few hours we’re going out for a drink. It’s so nice being here, I feel so calm and relaxed!
Tomorrow I’ll probably meet Eleonora in town and Thursday Sofia is coming in from Brussels – yaay!

I got back to Sweden Thursday afternoon, Friday was the funeral. Saturday Jenny, Kelly and I had reserved a table at Grand for an Afternoon Tea. By now you guys must know hom much we enjoy our afternoon tea’s, we’re trying our way through all the good hotels in Stockholm. It was so nice seeing my Schpoons again and to catch up on everything that’s been going on in everyone’s life. Jenny and I stayed there for hours eating and drinking massive amounts of tea! Cosy time!

Tuesday night, the night before my departure from D.C, our last supper. Haha. We went to a really interesting restaurant, they had this drink which tasted like a mix between sangria, ice tea and beer! That’s what we’re drinking on the photos below, it was all about how far away from your mouth you could keep it.
This is the day I got sick so I was feeling very under the weather but we had a nice time, then straight home to bed after dinner :)

Hi everyone! I’m at home in Luxembourg now. Haven’t been home in almost a year and a half so now my mother had enough and booked me a ticket to come see her. I took a plane this morning and it is SO GOOD TO BE BACK! I love Luxembourg, it’s so peaceful and beautiful here. Mom and I have been talking non stop since I arrived this morning, so much catching up to do. We went grocery shopping, had lunch and now we’re comparing our tech skills on our computers haha. I realize now how much I’ve missed her, we love spending time together.
Eleonora flew in from Athens as well, I haven’t seen her since last summer when we spent the whole summer in Greece together. I’m super excited to see her!
So now I’m sitting in the sofa, blogging and eating chocolate. In a little bit mom and I will open a bottle of champagne and celebrate me being back.
Recently I’ve had so much going on and I haven’t replied to any of your comments in a while now, this week I’ll just take it easy, get back to normal with my blogging and hand out with my friends!

Tuesday before I went back the girls and I had a little roadtrip out to one of our friend’s office..or massive building is more like it. He showed us his building and then we went for lunch. He had a meeting so us girls went shopping together, had Pinkberry for dessert etc. I wore a simple but colourful t-shirt and Acne jeans – so not what I usually wear but I like it, chilled.

Monday before I left to go back to Sweden we hosted a dinner party at Rick’s house. Elina and Cindy just got back from Miami and Vegas and it was so nice seeing them again, my girls. We had such an amazing evening, food was amazing, Godiva chocolates for dessert – Rick sure knows what women love. A nice evening with great friends and new friends, what could be better.
