Sunday Brunch in D.C

Brunch must be my favourite meal/event of the week. It’s so nice meeting up a few friends for bloody mary’s, mimosas and good food. The perfect ending to a week if you ask me:)

My last Sunday in D.C Justin invited us over for a Sunday brunch. He made very spicy Bloody Mary’s and a fantastic omelette!

When I have a family I’ll force brunch upon them as a solid tradition, at least once a month! Cosy.

Great view

We celebrated Paolo’s birthday and the place had the most amazing view, right next to the White House.. cool.

I’m still trying to update you guys of everything that went down in NYC and D.C so I can update you guys with what I’m doing here in Sthlm right now.

I got sick the last two days in D.C and I’m finally getting better, I’m not all well yet which is weird cause I normally never get sick. I’m overconsuming tea though so I should be fine soon:) How are you guys doing? I love you guys and I appreciate how supportive and kind you are <3

Charity Event

After the brunch party at Lost Society Joe brought me to a charity event. We don’t really have charity events in Sweden so I’ve never been to one but it was fun! Auctions are always interesting.

Babysitters

My last weekend before going back to Swe the following week Cindy went to Vegas with some friends of ours and Elina went to Miami.

So I had Chad and Joe babysit me that weekend and we had a lot of fun with brunches, charity events and parties. Great babysitters:P

Rasika

We went back to DC from NYC and had dinner at Rasika, the number one Indian restaurant in DC – delicious. I love Indian food, afterwards we went out.

Lunch at Gustorganics

We found an organic and super healthy place in Nyc, Gustorganics. It’s crazy how difficult it is to find good food today! Cindy and I really had a good time in NYC. We are blessed having so many great friends that always take good care of us, include us with their friends and show us around!

Sunday Funday in NYC

Back to updating.. So it was Sunday in NYC and we met Joe and two of his friends for brunch. A brunch that ended up being a competition of who could down the most Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas. The food was delicious! After brunch we went to Three Monkeys for more mimosas and after that we went back to Mac’s house and up on his roof – amazing view! After yet another few drinks up on the roof we all went for a big lobster dinner – yum! A long Sunday of fun!

Take one for the team

I brought lots of American candy with me home for Axel and Elsa but none of them really like the whole peanutbutter flavour thing Americans have going on and I was supposed to be healthy starting tomorrow but now we have loads of candy and no one here likes it except me. I guess sometimes you just gotta take one for the team huh?

Tomorrow is the funeral for a dear family member so I doubt I will blog tomorrow, just so you all know why. As soon as I find time I’ll update with all the photos I’ve taken during my trip, I promise you that. I just gotta find time for it!

Now I should really go to bed, I haven’t slept since the night between Tuesday and Wednesday :/

Facial Rehab

I got back to Sweden late this afternoon, my connecting flight from London was delayed and seeing how I got sick the day before leaving today was horrible. I actually feel even more sorry for the passengers sitting next to me haha.

It’s good to be back home, I’m planning my week here in Sweden, in a week and a half I’m going home to Luxemburg for a week, then back to Sthlm quickly and then leave for the mighty U.S and A again in the end of May. Woop!

Elsa just got back from Lux and my mom sent me new facial products. I have said it before but I will say it again, I don’t use anything else than the products by my mom cause she creates them especially designed for my skin; how I live my life, what I’m sensitive for etc. so it’s the perfect formula for me. That’s also why they’re handwritten and without professional labels in case any of you wondered:P Private use only.

I did a facial peeling, now I’m sitting with a mud mask and then I’ll use my new Orange Blossom Facial Mist and then top it off with my new Facial Oil! My skin is in need of rehab, when travelling you can’t bring all your products, or at least I prefere bringing a pair of heels instead of facial things, so I will take extra good care of myself now when home, back to routines.
