No computer until Wednesday :(

Hi everyone! Since my computer completely crashed and nothing could be saved I haven’t got any computer right now and can therefor not blog. I’ll probably get my internet access back on Wednesday and then I can continue with my Greece update:)

I miss you guys, it sucks not being able to blog! I’m currently at the library but the computer use here is restricted to 30 min and there’s no way I’ll have time for even one post in that time.

Apart from that I’m running errands and getting things in order. On Sunday I will go to Luxembourg and I’ll stay there for a month, more about all of that on Wednesday!

Keep Calm – Be A Schpoon

Yesterday I met Kelly for a long powerwalk. We always discuss the most odd subjects but we always have a blast. A few weeks ago we met at Kelly’s place and went for a beautiful powerwalk around the lakes, when we got home we made a delicious chicken salad and watched Magic Mike – YUM!

On Sunday us Schpoons are meeting again for tea, gossip and homemade chocolate truffles (by Kelly)!

A fabulous champagne party in black and gold

So let’s start with the update. J came to Stockholm and during that same weekend a bunch of our other friends from New York flew in to Sthlm for a party. We had a lovely brunch that Saturday but unfortunately those photos were on my computer. That evening Kelly hosted a fabulous party at her house. She had a personal chef making us the most delicious finger foods ever and she had prepared her fridge with 72 little bottles of champagne. We were 12 girls, J and Wille and we all had a blast! That must have been the best party in a long time! Kelly is a fantastic hostess as well, as you might have seen in my previous posts about her different Afternoon Tea Parties and such.

After Kelly’s party we met up with everyone from NYC and went to Tåpajen party at Café Opera and then White Room. Those photos were also on my computer.

We even got a goodiebag; black nailpolish and a gold glitter eyeliner from Make Up Store, champagne and golden hearts chocolates:)

MY COMPUTER DIED!!! =(#//%!?*^

You guys are not going to believe this. Yesterday I took my computer and got ready for hours of updating the blog, going through photos etc. Then my laptop starts acting weird and I just get this feeling that something bad is about to happen so I decide to back my computer up and put all my photos from 3 years back (15.000 photos) on an external hard drive just in case so I don’t lose anything. And also since I have SO MUCH I haven’t had time to post here on the blog yet.

Then my computer dies, IT DIES! WHY OH WHY??!!?

I left it to get it checked to see what can be done and if my photos can be saved or not. All those memories and fun things I have done and photos are so important to me cause it reminds me of how I felt, what I did and how fantastic it was/or wasn’t haha.

They told me that it will take 1-2 WEEKS before we know what’s wrong.. So to all of you, BACK UP your computers today. Trust me it’s not worth it.
Thankfully I still have all of the photos from my vacation in Greece on my camera so I’ll try to borrow my brother’s computer tonight and get started. Everything is going wrong for me right now, it’s exhuasting.

Photos from Karin’s bday party

This summer in D.C my dear sweetheart Karin had her birthday party. We had a dinner just us girls before with our own private menu, after dinner a limousine came and picked us all up and drove us to Cities where she had a whole part of the club for just her guests. (Photos from that blog post HERE) She also had a private photographer who took photos during the night and I just got them sent to me by Karin’s husband so I thought I’d share them with you all. It was such a GREAT party, so luxurious and so much fun! Karin truly is a beautiful person, on the outside obviously but I mean her inside too. She’s become such a supportive friend.

Ah, Greece

Greece really is a fantastic country and their islands are just amazing. On Wednesday we’re going to Crete too, I cannot wait! Some of you who has been around for a while know that I spent practically my entire summer last year in Greece: Athens, Mykonos, Spetses and other smaller islands. It felt so good to be back when we landed in Athens Sunday and realizing how much I  recognize and know my way around Athens brought back many good memories, ah Greece!

Here’s some paradise inspiration photos, so that we can all be on vacation for a little while:)
